Mythmakers: A Game Master Academy for Organizations
Program Category
Educational Programs
Audience Age
Pre-Teens and Teenagers
When you think of roleplaying games, what comes to mind? For many people, it's all about the dice and the stats. But tabletop roleplaying games are so much more than that! There's a whole world of collaborative storytelling behind them, and they can be a great way for kids and teens to practice their analytical skills, creativity, and even organizational skills. Here at Mastermind Adventures, we believe that tabletop roleplaying games are an important part of creating a generation of people who are able to solve problems in innovative ways. That's why we created Mythmakers: a Game Master Academy to teach kids how to build their own stories with the power of their imaginations. In this program for kids aged 10-17, your students will get hands-on experience with the basics of tabletop roleplaying games, from a simple way to build encounters to worldbuilding and NPCs, as well as basic table management. By the time they've finished, they'll be ready to start telling their own stories!
