Castle Nitor creates immersive historical experiences for people to enjoy. We are offering a taste of what we do for your patrons! We will set up a historical setup (tent, tables, and chairs) and teach people how various historical crafts were done. Many of the arts cover a range of periods. We offer a few of the crafts as a quick project in a few minutes, and people can do them and take them home.
Here are some of the crafts we demo- Finger Loop Braiding, Chain Mail, Lucet Cord, Drop Spinning, Rag Doll Making, Viking Wire Weaving, Historical Pouches and Pockets, Tablet Weaving, and more.
A fun format for a season is a kickoff event where we do this demo. That can then be followed by a series of 3-6 craft classes where we teach a different craft at each class. Please see our other programs offered here and reach out to plan with us.

Our Tent setup takes up at least 12 by 12 feet and can be set up indoors or outdoors. We have two different tents we use, so please, if indoors, let us know how high the ceilings are. Our larger tent is a great eye-catcher on the outside!
This is designed to be a drop-in setup, so we keep it relatively simple and bring everything needed!
