Fire Cider is a classic folk remedy that herbalists and “kitchen witches” have been making for generations. It boosts the immune system, wards off colds and flu, and is an overall tonic for the body. Fire Cider is a wonderful remedy to make on your own, but even more fun to make with friends! Join Nora Toomey, Clinical Herbalist of True Bloom, for an afternoon of community medicine making! As we chop up our ingredients, we will learn all about this delightfully spicy and sweet remedy, including the history, the primary herbal actions and applications, and the myriad of recipe variations you can try at home! Each participant will leave with a quart jar full of Fire Cider!
$200.
As with all of my classes, there is a sliding scale option.
If this is on zoom, the sliding scale is $125-200, and folks will recieve a recipe list to gather ingredeints on their own before class.
If this is in person, the sliding scale is $200-300, and there is also a $5 per person materials fee. I will provide cutting boards, knives, all of the ingredeints, and quart mason jars for each participant.

If held in person, we would just need table space for folks to chop up their ingredients. It would also be great to have a projector so I can show slides while we make our Fire Cider!
