Description

"What can Deaf people do?"  Better to ask "What can't they do?"

Who invented the most popular shorthand system?

Who created the classified section in newspapers?

Which lifeguard is in the Guiness Book of World Records?

Which pilot is in the Guiness Book of World Records?

Which architect designed a major part of downtown Nashville?

Who was the first deaf-blind person to earn a college degree?

...and so many more.

Be fascinated with things you did not realize.  Be inspired to know what people can do when they don't focus on what they can't do.  Enjoy learning about people who accomplished remarkable things in spite of obstacles in their paths - not from deafness - but from a misunderstanding of deafness and Deaf people.
