Description

Performance of live jazz music in a wide variety of jazz, blues, and original music compositions and styles; original takes on standards old and new from the Great American Song Book and Beyond; as well as educational presentations on topics such as "What is Jazz?", and "A Brief History of Jazz Through the Years".  

Fee
$750.

The base fee is for a minimum of a 60-90 minute performance, with longer perfoirmance lengths of time requiring a larger fee. Travel distances and/or mileage rates may apply based on the distance/mileage required to and from the performance location, and/or any overnight accommodations and/or meals as needed if greater distances and time commitments are required.

Facility Requirements

Most any size facility can be accomodated. The trio members and I require one electrical outlet to power our instruments and sound reinforcement equipment as needed, and a work area no less than 10-12' 0" Wide by 6'0" Deep. Additional Sound equipment for larger performances and/or outdoor events may be required based on the request, and may require a supplemntal fee as needed.

We have successfully provided peformances for the University of Massachusetts/Amherst at the WEB DuBois Library, as well as private events for the Chancellor and Provost and others at UMass/Amherst (we are an approved UMass Vendor); regular appearances at  Mt. Holyoke College for the Dean of Faculty Receptions; the Blackstone Public Library; the Springfield Public Library and Quadrangle Museums for private events; as well as the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Weekend and more, and the Bright Nights Ball bothare located  in Springfield, MA; and various art museum openings and receptions. We have featured performers at the Springfield (MA) Hoop City Jazz Festival and the Springfield (MA) Jazz and Roots Festival, etc. Municipal concerts in the towns of Great Barrrington, Lenox and Longmeadow, MA and more.  Referals are available upon request.
