Description

A CELEBRATION OF APPLES Balance on a ladder and bite into a crisp Macoun or Macintosh. Peel and slice Cortlands or Jonathans into a fresh-baked pie. Quaff a pint of cider fresh from the press or aged in a barrel until it's scrumpy. Hark to the tale of the Apple Tree Man and his Somerset wassail. Pluck the silver apples of the moon and the golden apples of the sun with Yeats. Celebrate the first round, ripe days of fall with songs of apples, cider, and the apple tree. Especially suitable for September and October.
