A look at the growing culture and popularity of speedrunning. Speedrunning is the act of playing through a game as quickly as possible without using any outside cheats or modding the files. While not as big as competitive playing, speedrunning is growing in popularity. I will take a look at the skill that goes into speedrunning and talking about the popular charity: Games Done Quick that has grown along with the style.
