Description
In authentic costume in first person characterization, Petticoat Adventures presents the stories of some amazing American women: Deborah Sampson, Rachel Revere, Luisa Adams and Johanna Sears (the clipper ship girl). Programs for young children are interactive. Sponsors select one of the characters for presentation.

Petticoat Adventures has been performed in hundreds of schools, libraries, historical societies, small theaters etc. in such venues as the Paul Revere House, the National Archives in Washington, D.C., Old South Meeting House, National Heritage Museum, etc. Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor Center,etc This program is on the touring roster of the New England Foundation for the Arts as well as NH Humanities Council
