The job search with the advent of job boards powered by AI and candidates need to find a way to stand out from the sea of look alike resumes. This talk looks at the traditional STAR interview process and takes a new look at in 2025. Everybody knows the STAR approach to interviewing. This is when the interviewer asks you a question like Tell me about a time you had to deal with an angry customer and how you dealt with the situation. STAR questions are designed to look at past behavior to predict future performance. Superstars are based on STAR questions, but they have two distinct differences that will make you stand out. Studies have shown that this approach can reduce your job search by as many as three months given the average job search in 2025 is 6.5 months and the number of long term unemployed has risen by 50% since 2024. They are designed to be shared with hiring managers in advance of the interview, making you stand out They provide insights to the employer on how you will address current and future challenges based on your areas of expertise This session will cover the steps in creating superstars for 15 minutes while working live with attendees to create superstars based on their LinkedIn profiles.
