Description

Let storyteller David Mello chill, thrill, and thoroughly entertain you with his diverse collection of ghostly stories, poems, and lore from around the world. Tales Best Told In The Dark will entertain as well as spark the imagination.

Among the stories:

"The Skeleton Woman", a Native American Legend.

"Teeth", a traditional "jump tale" told with masks.

"The Ghost With the One Black Eye" a humorous tale with a suprise ending.

Several of these tales are performed using shadow puppetry on a portable shadow booth for an additional haunting effect for your event!

$200. There may be an additional charge for milage depending on location

A room that can be darkened works best.

David Mello has been the Supervisor of Children's Services at the Fall River Public Library since 1988. He has been storytelling professionally since 1996 and is the storyteller in residence for the sleep-over program of the Battleship Massachusetts. He was a guest performer for the annual Johnnycake Storytelling Festival in2009.
