On first glance, classical music and jazz don't have much in common. But successful operas such as Porgy and Bess have proved that there are exciting connections between the two.

In this popular program, Robin performs classical favorites such as "Amarilli, mia bella," "Se tu mami, se sospiri," and "Dido's Farewell." Robin continues with jazz classics such as "Take the A Train," and 'Misty." She ends with Gershwin's classic, "Summertime," which has been interpreted in both classical and jazz styles by performers such as opera diva Leontyne Price and jazz great Ella Fitzgerald.
