Description

This exciting presentation serves as a great introduction to listening to jazz. In this lecture, Dan shares recordings from various periods/jazz styles and discusses the following:

a. Why certain jazz records are classics and what makes them so special.

b. Tips to enjoying specific artists' styles or genre-specific features'¦(For e.g., Louis Armstrong's amazing technique and his ability to compose melodies spontaneously.)

c. (If desired, Dan performs solo or with ensemble to illustrate the lecture.)
