Guy Mendilow performs music inspired by the places he has lived and traveled, from the walls of Jerusalem to the cobblestone streets of old Salvador, the highlands of Chiapas and the harsh, parched desert of the Sinai. Mendilow's performances feature his compelling vocals in six languages, including overtone singing (a style permitting one singer to produce two or more voices at once) as well as a variety of instruments such as the berimbau, electric mbira (thumb piano), guitar, flute and saxophone
