Diane's popular dinosaur adventures complement their scientific facts with a happy dose of humor. Dinosaur lovers of all ages will enjoy the colorful posters, Dinosaur Sign-Language and participation that keeps audiences engaged and asking for MOOORE! Two original stories are included: Pattysaurus in which selfish Patty becomes so obsessed with her dinosaur collection that she turns into a gigantic sauropod herself and Egg Mountain in which the audience helps out on this surprise filled journey that leads to the discovery of Egg Mountain and Maiasaura, the first dinosaur known to care for its young. Based on current scientific discoveries, this piece educates as it entertains.

Fee listed above is for a live performance- depending on location some travel may apply. Reduced performance fees for block bookings are available during summer reading. Some sliding scale rates available for smaller libraries.

Program Length
50 minutes
Storytelling is the most flexible of art forms! All that is required is an open-comfortable space for the audience to gather. If the performance is to be outdoors then request is for teller not to be in direct sunlight for the length of the performance. Diane has excellent sound equipment that can be heard at a distance which helps with social distancing.

Originally commissioned for World Trade Center's World of Dinosaurs, Digging Dinosaurs has been a favorite at Museums. Schools, Libraries and Parks for over twenty years. Diane's CD: "Pattysaurus and Other Tales" received a starred review in Publisher's Weekly, is a winner of a Storytelling World Honor's Award and was a recommended purchase by the Elementary School Library Collection.
