A native of South Berwick Maine, her short stories mirror the everyday lives of New Englanders, often reflecting the mysterious and supernatural atmosphere of this region. Actress, Rita Parisi has adapted several of Jewett's short stories as a theatrical storytelling presentation which brings alive these forgotten literary jewels. This is NOT a reading.
