Original and traditional songs, accompanied by guitar and banjo. Lui uses her songs and black bear puppet Ursa as a bridge to the children, with the objective of furthering the prevention of violence through pro-active teaching of peaceful connection, respect for one another and for the earth. The songs speak for themselves, showing how language and music are bridges between individuals and among diverse populations. Interactive program, with singing, small movement and learning simple ASL phrases with some songs.
