Love Your Mother: Songs for the Earth and Her Peoples
Program Categories
Music, Educational Programs
Audience Age
preK-grade 4
Description
Lui uses her songs and her scruffy black bear puppet Ursa as a bridge to the children and their lives, to further environmental awareness through pro-active teaching of respect and appreciation for the earth. The songs speak for themselves, telling stories and tying the concepts directly into the children's lives. The children learn respect for the earth and its peoples both directly through the songs and indirectly through Lui's attitude of awe for the earth and all beings.
