Program

The purpose of this one hour workshop/presentation is to encourage creativity in kids through music. The presenter - Yury Shenkar goes over a few of the most basic concepts of music in a simple, entertaining and easy to understand way. Real instruments are used for demonstrations that are interspersed with songs and music. Kids are enticed to participate in creating music together with the presenter using their voices, percussion or other instruments whatever is available. At the end of the hour the group creates a song together. Kids gain a great sense of accomplishment and confidence in their creative ability and in their ability to study music or learn an instrument.
