Program

Sandy Kiefer, Music Director of the Copley Chamber Music Players, introduces younger students to the music and magic of the cello. Sandy presents the cello with an explanation of its form and function. Several short classical pieces are woven into the program. Children are also shown a wide range of cello sound effects that they will then use to accompany a story of their own composition. This program gives children a close look at music making and an understand of the cello's inner workings.
