Youth Services Librarian, Hollis Social Library (Hollis, NH)
The Hollis Social Library seeks a highly motivated Youth Librarian to join our staff to serve the children and teens of the Town of Hollis, a historic town in southern New Hampshire. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, salaried, non-exempt position with benefits.
This position is responsible for the implementation and supervision of all children’s and young adult library services, programs, and collections. It requires the consistent exercise of discretion and judgement regarding collection development, programming, and library policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will have a positive outlook, strong customer service skills, flexibility, a good sense of humor, and a commitment to promoting literacy and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for children, teens, and their families.

Qualifications
Preferred: Master's Degree in Library Science, or commensurate experience, and a minimum of 3 years responsible experience as a professional librarian in youth services, including one year in a supervisory capacity. Applicants currently enrolled in a Library Science Master’s program at an accredited university will be considered.
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in library or education field.
