Due to a recent internal promotion, the Town of Falmouth is seeking an enthusiastic and creative professional to serve as our Managing Librarian of Branch Services and lead this division of the Falmouth Public Library (FPL). The Falmouth Public Library is a well-supported and well-loved, busy library that is frequented by the residents of Falmouth and the surrounding towns as well as by our share of the tens of thousands of summer visitors to Falmouth. The Main Library, located in the heart of downtown Falmouth, and the East and North branches are a highly valued community resource and are well supported by the elected Board of Trustees, Town Administration, the Falmouth Public Library Support Fund, and the Friends of the Falmouth Public Library.

The successful candidate has intensive knowledge of the principles and practices of library work and supports the Library’s role in providing free and equal access to ideas, information, resources, and services.
