Community Outreach Librarian, Canton Public Library (Canton)
The Canton Public Library is looking for a Community Outreach Librarian who is passionate about sharing our services with new audiences, who enjoys planning and putting on fantastic library programs, and who is excited to work with the public.
Our Outreach Librarian works closely with a team of other librarians and subject selectors to help us engage and excite the community about library services. If you are a dedicated and enthusiastic person looking to work with a team of other great librarians at an organization the values its employees, we welcome your application.
Qualifications
Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate.
Ability to plan and execute a 12 month schedule of events at the library as well as to respond to current events with timely programs.
Ability to effectively use communication strategies to market library programs and events.
