Circulation Supervisor, Paul Pratt Memorial Library (Cohasset)

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibility:
Reporting to the Library Director, the Circulation Supervisor is responsible for the planning, organization, supervision, development and administration of all circulation services including personnel and daily operations. Assists in personnel selection for the circulation department. Responsible for carrying out the Library’s Missions and Goals relating to circulation. Scheduled nights and Saturday shifts are required.

Qualifications

Organizational, procedural and public relations proficiency, and an ability to develop and maintain a rapport with the public and colleagues is necessary.  Supervisory experience preferred.

Proficiency in integrated library systems, Word, Excel, Canva, and Google Suite. Experience with SirsiDynix Workflows, Library Calendar, and Museum Key a plus. Ability to set priorities and work with frequent interruptions. Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility are necessary.
