Library Digital Services Coordinator, Forbush Memorial Library (Westminster)
Library Digital Services Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing digital programming and content initiatives in support of the mission of the Library. Other responsibilities include providing complex assistance and other support to the adult services, circulation and technical services departments, collection development; digital and otherwise, and routine circulation activities. p>
Maintain and promote e-collections, databases, and
other digital resources
Produce and distribute the library e-newsletter, print flyers and brochures, and other marketing materials as needed
Maintain a library presence on social media platforms in accordance with the Library Social Media Policy, and integrate online and social media information outlets into a cohesive marketing strategy
Update and maintain content on the library website
Collaborate with staff to plan, promote and implement library programming and events, especially technology and information literacy programs
Manage calendar and event room bookings using Assabet
Coordinate creation and maintenance of library displays p>
Assist patrons at the library circulation desk, including: answer the telephone; provide basic directional reference and reader’s advisory services; issue library cards; issues patron passes to area museums and attractions
Maintain the confidentiality of library records of patrons of all ages as required by Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 78, Section 7
Attend library and community functions as necessary
May be assigned to special projects, to cross train to work in other areas of the library, or to perform other duties as necessary

Qualifications
Equivalent to high school plus additional training equal to one to two years of college, attainment of Associates level of post-secondary education. Recent graduates or early-career professionals that are interested in advancing their experience in marketing, public services, and/or library science.
1 to 3 years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience.
