Saturday Circulation Aide, Whelden Memorial Library (West Barnstable) (Barnstable)
Looking for a way to gain library experience or earn extra income on a predictable schedule?
Whelden Memorial Library is seeking a friendly and dependable Circulation Aide to work every other Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, year-round, with opportunities to pick up additional substitute shifts when available.
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in library work, a library school student, or a current library employee looking for a few extra hours. Previous library experience is welcome but not required.
Responsibilities include assisting patrons at the circulation desk, checking materials in and out, shelving library materials, answering basic questions, and helping maintain a welcoming library environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while providing excellent service to patrons.
