Department Specialist/Children's Services, Tewksbury Public Library (Tewksbury)
The TPL is searching for a Specialist to assist the Children's Librarian with a variety of support duties serving families in our lively Children's Department. Assist with programming, planning, collection maintenance, reference and readers advisory with children ages 0-11 and their families in mind.
Qualifications
Formal education required: at least 2 years college.
Appropriate experience may be considered to partially fulfill this requirement for a candidate actively pursuing a college course of study.
Formal training in child development, teaching, etc. is preferred.
Effective written and verbal communication skills required.
Previous experience with computers is required.
