Directions: FROM I-90 (MASSACHUSETTS TURNPIKE): The Jackson Homestead is located in Newton Corner, about 1/3 mile West of exit 17 off the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90), on Washington St., which runs parallel to the Turnpike. FROM Route 128: Take the exit for Route 16 East at Newton Lower Falls. Route 16 is also Washington St. Follow Washington St. and watch for the following landmarks: Newton-Wellesley Hospital on right; Woodlawn Country Club on left; Cross Commonwealth Ave. and make a reverse S-turn over I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike). Stay in right lane for Washington St., Route 16 veers left to Watertown; Walnut St. in Newtonville; Stop & Shop and a large brick church on the left. The Jackson Homestead is a 527 Washington St. on the corner of Jackson Rd. and Washington St., in Newton Corner. It is yellow with green shutters. On street parking on Washington St. or on Jackson Rd.
