Ageless Mindfulness for ages 3-6 and Adult by Baby Kneads
Program Category
Educational Programs
Audience Age
3-6
The class is designed to practice mindfulness with the children while modeling for the adults how to get the children to be more aware and in the present moment. Mindfulness can help children increase their attention span, focus and concentration, improve memory, better social functioning, self esteem, reduces stress, and can improve relationships with parents.
The class is designed to experience what mindfulness is and to show caregivers how to use it in their lives in a practical way. In the class we do simple and fun activities to encourage mindfulness and relaxation so that everyone can see it in action. I bring a bag of props and we engage in sensory activities to learn how to be more mindful. I have a kindness rock, puppets, chime bells, animal breathing exercises, friendly wishes heart bell and more.
