My name is Kevin MacKenzie. Over 75 years ago one of the greatest aviation mysteries of all time, the 1945 disappearance of five naval aircraft captured the imaginations of the public and its perception of the Bermuda Triangle. How could five planes just dissapear without a trace.
Flight-19! -“Down to the Last Ten Gallons” is a virtual presentation and lecture designed to educate, entertain and challenge the curious by asking what do we really know about the details and circumstances surrounding the missing aircraft?
This program takes a unique look, into the various unexplored elements of the saga, the conjecture, theories and just the plain obfuscated that you won't find in the Television shows and movies.
At the end of the program attendees will not only have had a basic introduction to the elements behind the disappearance of Flight-19, the event timeline, the search and rescue effort, and salvage operations, they will have been given information to make their own informed conclusions about what happened.

About me: For over fifteen years, I have made finding and researching the history of Flight-19 a focus of my spare time.
As a Marine veteran I feel somewhat akin to the pilots and crewmen and as a para-librarian, have made it a goal in my research to help keep their story alive, and relevant for future generations.
During my course of study, I have relied heavily on official naval and government documentation and have used the writings of Larry Kusche, a retired librarian, Jon Myhre a former Marine & Army pilot and other subject matter experts as my primary resources.
Since 2015 I have blogged about my investigation and field trips in an effort to piece together enough evidence to formulate an opinion and thesis, and to share it with the world. Please feel free to visit my WordPress blog site at www.fivesides2atriangle.com
