Social media librarian, Lilly Library (Northampton)
We're looking to hire a benefitted staff person for 20 or more hours a week. This is an ideal position for someone seeking to gain leadership experience in a library. In addition to the usual customer service work, the position includes the essential duties of: social media posting, editing a wordpress website, clerical and administrative work including helping with payroll and banking. A successful candidate may also opt into young adult programming and collection development.
It's a fairly flexible position and we hope that someone would use it as a springboard by accepting these responsibilities so they can move into a leadership role elsewhere. This position is benefitted and 20 plus hours each week. Our current needs include: Tuesdays, 2:00 - 8:00 Fridays, 9:00 - 5:00 and Saturdays, 9:00 - 5:00.
The ideal candidate will have library experience and or a library degree. We want to be part of your story of success.
