Children/Young Adult Librarian/Assistant Library Director, Millbury Public Library (Millbury)
This is a full time, benefited, non-union, flexible hour position. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Assist in the day to day operations of the library, reports directly to the Library Director, selects and evaluates books, and other materials for children and young adults; plan and develop virtual and in person programs, implement story hours, assist patrons, oversee departmental budget, prepare grants, performs community outreach, internal and external marketing, and school outreach.
Qualifications
Three (3) years of experience in professional library work including familiarity with children/young adult literature and experience in a responsible supervisory capacity or equivalent. Master's Degree in Library Science preferred.
