Archives Fellow, Northeast Museum Services Center (Boston)

Year-long fellowship through American Conservation Experience.  Catalogs National Park Service records under the supervision of experienced archivists. Duties include surveying records, arrangement, rehousing, and creating finding aid and catalog records using national and NPS standards.  The records of Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River are the major focus of this fellowship.  Anticipated start date early July at the Center’s offices in Charlestown Navy Yard.  Housing is not available, but parking or transit subsidy may be provided. 

Qualifications

M.L.S. or Master's degree in history required; archives concentration preferred.  This position is funded through the Public Land Corps Act which has specific program requirements: Must be 18-30 years of age to apply; military veterans up to 35 are encouraged to apply; US citizen or permanent resident.
