Provide in-depth legal and business research services to attorneys and staff using both print and online resources

Collaborate and coordinate with other firmwide team librarians to provide seamless research service for attorneys in all firm locations

Manage library and office print collections

Provide library outreach, training and orientation programs to attorneys and staff

Maintain relationships with local vendor representatives and trainers to ensure that attorneys receive timely and up to date training and assistance with online resources

Establish relationships with attorneys to improve, expand and market the range of available information sources and services

Manage library finances, including annual budget, reports, acquisitions, and invoice payment

Supervise filer

Other duties as assigned.


MLIS required

3+ years of law library experience

2-3 years legal research required

Strong knowledge of integrated library systems, research databases such as Westlaw, Lexis and Cheetah, Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of Massachusetts and New England states laws and court system

Good oral and written communication skills and ability to think critically and creatively as regards library services

Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage diverse projects

Commitment to providing quality client service

Self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within and across departments, with all levels of personnel

Ability to thrive in a team environment.

$30.00 - $40.00  / hour
