UX Research Coordinator, Harvard Library (Cambridge)

Description:

The User Research Center (URC) at Harvard Library is Harvard's premier lab for user-centered design, digital accessibility, and testing. The URC seeks a part-time UX Research Coordinator to manage recruitment for UX studies, take notes on studies, make video clips, and manage the lab’s social media. The UX Research Coordinator will report to the Head of UX & Digital Accessibility and collaborate closely with the UX Researcher. Duties include building participant pool, sending recruitment emails, managing Twitter & LinkedIn accounts, recording notes from studies, and other administrative duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

●     Support recruitment efforts and outreach for library UX studies.

●     Manage incentives for UX studies participants. 

●     Support URC event promotion and logistics. 

●     Assist with note taking and creating video clips from UX studies.

●     Post regular updates to the URC's social media accounts on Twitter and LinkedIn.

●     Edit content on the URC’s website and wiki.

●     Communicate UX software updates with the team via email & Slack. 

Location:

Primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings at Lamont Library in Cambridge, MA

Qualifications

●     Proficiency in Google Docs/Sheets/Slides.

●     Experience managing social media accounts through Twitter and LinkedIn.

●     Working knowledge of Calendly, Slack, Trello, and Miro for project collaboration.

●     Familiarity with MailChimp or other email marketing software. 

●     Interest in user experience (UX), user research, digital accessibility, computer science, digital marketing, web design, or behavioral psychology.
