Assistant Director, Stoneham Public Library (Stoneham)

The Assistant Director works under the general supervision and administrative direction of the Director.  The individual is responsible for assisting the Library Director in the planning, organization, supervision, development and administration of all library services, personnel, operations, technology, and programs.  The position fills in when the Director is not present and supervises the remainder of the Library staff and volunteers. Specific areas of responsibility include grant writing, marketing, communication, technological training, programming, collection development and outreach. Master's Degree in Library Science required.

Salary Range

$68,779.00 - $75,919.00  / year
