Local History Librarian, Watertown Free Public Library (Watertown)
The Watertown Free Public Library is a busy, mid-sized library serving a diverse population. Nestled in the oldest part of our renovated building is the Local History Room, home to thousands of volumes of Watertown history. This collection contains books by local authors, genealogies, town records, histories, and various primary sources and ephemera.
We are in search of a part-time librarian who specializes in local history or archives who will, under the supervision of Adult Services, continue to organize, preserve, and make this historical library collection discoverable today and in the future.
Previous customer service or library patron service experience is desirable. Those who are bilingual/multilingual librarians or from an immigrant background are strongly encouraged to apply.

Starting wage is $29.86/hour and the full salary range ends at $35.68/hour. The City is in the process of completing a new compensation schedule so the salary is slated to increase should the union approve it.
