Assistant Children's Librarian, Wilbraham Public Library (Wilbraham)
Assists the Children's Librarian in the operation of children’s library services and programs, including development and delivery of special programs and projects, provides reference services, assists patrons in the use of library materials and electronic resources, etc.
Tentative schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-2pm, Alternating Saturdays 9am-2pm.
Qualifications
Two year related College Degree (or equivalent); educational background in the area of childhood or adolescent education and development; one year experience in a position demonstrating programming abilities, customer service skills and excellent communication skills (must speak and write English). Must be able to read from a variety of print sources, be able to type, be able to carry, lift and shelve books and other materials, and must be proficient in the use of social media and library related software.
