Each summer, an average of 200,000 children, teens, and adults participate in summer library programming. Supported by the Boston Bruins, the MBLC works with the Massachusetts Library System to coordinate the statewide summer library program. At no cost to the libraries, Massachusetts uses the iREAD Summer Reading Program.
