- MIRA’s Immigrant Assistance Services (IAS) program: targeted legal and case management support to newly arrived immigrants residing in Massachusetts’ emergency assistance (EA) hotel and motel shelter.

The ILRC seeks to improve immigration law and policy, expand the capacity of legal service providers, and advance immigrant rights. It does not provide direct legal services or individual legal consultations.

Family Preparedness
- Office of the Attorney General: Emergency Planning Guide for Families
Outlines legal options that a parent might want to consider for a child who would remain in the United States in the event of parental detention or deportation. The guides are currently available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Haitian Creole
- MIRA Coaltion: Family Preparedness Packets
The packets linked in English, Español, Português, Kreyòl ayisyen contain advice to help families prepare in case of an emergency, for example in case a caregiver is detained and deported.

ORI supports services that meet the cultural and linguistic needs of refugees and immigrants through a network of service providers in Massachusetts. These include financial literacy, employment services, medical assistance, and the Citizenship for New Americans Program (CNAP).
