Senior Librarian, Freetown Public Libraries (Freetown)
Notice is hereby given that the Freetown Public Libraries and the Freetown Board of Library Trustees are seeking applications for the full-time (35hrs) position of Senior Librarian.
The Senior Librarian is responsible for performing professional work in relation to cataloging and technical services. Primary responsibilities include acquisition, development, and maintenance of library materials as well as coordination and support of Library technology and services. In the absence of the Library Director, the Senior Librarian shall act in their place.
Qualifications
The Senior Librarian must have 5 years of library experience as well as 1-2 years of
cataloging/technical services experience.
Bachelor’s or MLS is preferred.
