Library Technician, Levi Heywood Memorial Library (Gardner)
We’re looking for an organized, friendly, engaging, and public-service-oriented person to fill a part time Library Technician position at the Levi Heywood Library. This is a public facing, customer service position, perfect for a student, or retiree who wants to be a welcoming member of the community.
Library Technicians are responsible for staffing the library’s circulations desks, circulating materials, registering patrons, and assisting patrons of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
Qualifications
High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred. Strong customer service experience, ability to show good judgement and flexibility, and basic computer skills required. Prior experience in libraries and familiarity with Evergreen software desired.
