Adult Services Librarian, Simsbury Public Library (Simsbury, CT)
One of our staff is moving to Australia! We’re seeking a part-time Adult Services Librarian to help staff our Information Desk, create in our Innovators’ Workshop Makerspace, and assist with planning, advertising, and facilitating programs. This position offers a great way to gain experience in many aspects of library operations. Candidates should be enthusiastic, tech savvy, self-motivated, curious learners who are committed to excellent customer service, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a sense of humor.
Qualifications
Candidates must have an MLIS or equivalent degree from an ALA accredited program or be able to obtain their MLIS degree within one year from date of hire.
