Children's Librarian, Holliston Public Library (Holliston)
The Town of Holliston is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Children’s Librarian. This position is responsible for the planning, selection and management of the collection, programming, and reader’s services for the Children’s Department in the Library.
The successful candidate must have strong technology skills with the ability to use personal computers, computer peripherals, a projector and general office equipment as well as non-motorized tools and equipment such as book carts. Must have the ability to operate a television and game equipment (such as Nintendo Switch) and perform basic troubleshooting for streaming devices such as a Roku.
A Master’s degree in library science is preferred. 3-5 years of job-related experience is preferred or any equivalent combination of education and experience
The Children’s Librarian is responsible for the supervision of the Library Technicians and Library Pages. The Children’s Librarian is responsible for assigning and reviewing work and providing training and orientation to staff and volunteers.

This is a full-time benefit eligible position, 37.5 hours per week. The position is Grade 600, and the starting salary range is $28.93 - $30.28 per hour. The full salary range is $28.93 – $38.00 per hour.
