Assistant Librarian- Youth Services- 19hrs/wk, Milford Town Library (Milford)

Due to a promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a part-time professional position in our busy and well-supported Youth Services Department at the Milford Town Library. This position includes everything from direct patron service to programming to collection development; this is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in all facets of the youth services world. Ideally, we are searching for a candidate who can help us expand our services to infants and expecting families, however, those with significant experience serving youth of any age will be considered.  

Milford is a vibrant community with many Portuguese and Spanish speaking youth/families. Those fluent in Portuguese or Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply and should highlight those skills in their application materials. 

This is a 19 hour a week position. The schedule is negotiable depending on candidate availability; however, nights and/or Saturday hours may be included based on library needs.
