Program Description

This grant will provide the opportunity to promote culinary literacy in the community. Libraries should have a clear focus on who their target audience is and what need they are trying to address through this grant. Projects must include a strong programming component with an emphasis on hands-on activities. Some funds may be used for circulating items like cookware or in-house equipment to support cooking programs. Outreach should be a key component of the project. Libraries should have vested partnerships at the proposal stage. Potential partners could include food banks, Board of Health, and other relevant organizations.
