Network Cataloger, Merrimack Valley Library Consortium (North Andover)
The Merrimack Valley Library Consortium (MVLC) has an opening for a skilled and detail-oriented Network Cataloger due to upcoming internal transitions within our organization. In this role, you'll be instrumental in maintaining our bibliographic database, performing cataloging duties, and providing exceptional training and support to member library staff. Qualifications
· ALA accredited MLS
· Knowledge of current national cataloging standards
· Knowledge of cataloging and classification systems
· Experience with automated database use and management
· Two years public library cataloging experience
· Minimum of one year's experience with OCLC searching and editing
· Experience with MarcEdit desired
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Experience with training or instruction preferred
· Attention to detail
